Post-doctoral Fellowships of Institute of Eco-Environmental Forensics, Shandong University (IEEF)

Environmental Forensics, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Remediation, Ecology and Environmental Law
2、Eligibility Requirements
a) Applicants should be eligible to work in China and will be expected to follow good academic practices.
b) Applicants should be either in the final year of PhD study or within 3 years after having received a doctoral degree from a high-level university or research institute at home or abroad.
c) Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong academic and scientific research abilities and potentials.
d) Applicants should have a strong track record in publishing qualtity research in scientific journals.
e) Research projects of the applicants for post-doctoral fellowship should be cutting-edge, innovative and feasible.
f) Applicants are expected to devote at least 21 months full-time to their post-doctoral research at SDU.
3、Benefits and Support Policies
a) Salaries and Subsidies
The national recruitment of postdoctors (including foreign postdoctors) implements the annual salary system and provides corresponding salary according to the recruitment category; the highest achievable annual salary is 556,000 RMB.

Scientific research funds |
For distinguished-funded post-doctors, research funding of 50,000 RMB per year in natural sciences will be provided for 3 years at most. For others, provide research funding of 10,000 RMB per year for 2 years at most. |

Housing Allowance |
For distinguished-funded post-doctors, provide SDU post-doctor apartments or 1,500 RMB per month, sponsoring for 36 months at most. For others, provide 800 RMB per month for those not renting SDU post-doctor apartments and not possessing local house property, sponsoring for 24 months at most. |

Social security |
Post-doctors of Chinese Mainland: Social insurance and Housing Accumulation Funds, paid by SDU the same standard of teaching faculty. For international post-doctors, commercial insurances will be paid by SDU for 2 years at most. |

Jinan Municipal Government |
(1) Living allowances: 500 RMB per month, 24 months at most (2) Subsides for working in Jinan after completing post-doctoral programs: 250,000 RMB per person at most. |
Qingdao Municipal Government |
(1) Subsidies for innovative post-doctoral projects: 50,000 to 100,000 RMB (2) Living allowances: 7,000 to 13,000 RMB per month, 24 months at most (3) Subsidies for working in Qingdao after completing post-doctoral programs: 250,000 to 400,000 RMB. |
